Village South Families

We are proud to serve more than 400 children and families across Miami-Dade County. We believe safety and compassion go hand-in-hand, that accountability and dignity belong together, and that children do best when the adults around them lead with honesty and hold onto hope even when it feels far away.

Our case managers are at the heart of this work, but they don’t work alone. They are backed by a dedicated team of intake specialists, family and youth counselors, operations staff, and Peer Family Navigators, people with their own lived experience who deeply understand the fear, grief, and uncertainty families carry when they walk through our doors.

When a family can safely be brought back together, we work toward that reunification with everything we have. When that isn’t possible, we focus on building other loving, lasting futures. We are relationship-driven—just people helping people.

WestCare, The Village South, has been walking alongside individuals and families since 1973, beginning with a local residential program right here in Miami called The Village. Decades later, our commitment to this community remains exactly the same.
